Sidebar occasionally ignores unchecked "Show Tray Icon" on startup

"Show Tray Icon" unchecked when the app is launched

5. Steps to Reproduce
Most of the time, when "Show Tray Icon" is unchecked, there is briefly a taskbar icon on startup that disappears quickly. That seems normal.
About 20-40% of the time the taskbar icon remains even though the setting is unchecked. To get it to disappear, I have to go into settings, check the box, hit apply, uncheck the box, and hit save/apply.
