Agent Environment

Agent version agent 7.56.1

 datadog-agent.service - Datadog Agent
Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/datadog-agent.service; enabled; vendor preset: disabled)
Active: active (running) since Thu 2024-08-29 15:05:42 EDT; 19min ago
 Main PID: 25919 (agent)
   CGroup: /system.slice/datadog-agent.service
           └─25919 /opt/datadog-agent/bin/agent/agent run -p /opt/datadog-agent/run/agent.pid

journalctl returning nothing other than agent started and stopped.

Describe what happened:

  • Couple of random nodes were failing to get the successful http.can_connect. It got fixed after the rollback to previous version.

Describe what you expected:
Yum updates upgraded datadog from
1:7.55.0-1.x86_64 to 1:7.56.0-1.x86_64. Localhost port was open and reachable. But datadog agent failed to reach it.

Steps to reproduce the issue:
None

Additional environment details (Operating System, Cloud provider, etc):
Centos7 VM
