Does that file exist? And if this is git bash, remember you need to use Windows Paths as that location isn't real. |

I am using it in Ubuntu. oh-my-posh debug version: 19.8.2 Shell: bash (5.1.16(1)-release) Prompt: abir oh-my-posh CONFIG ERROR Segments: ConsoleTitle(true) - 1 ms Run duration: 20.734818ms Cache path: /home/abir/.cache/oh-my-posh Config path: /home/abir/jandedobbeleer.omp.json Here it shows the config path like that so I have used it. If this is not the correct path then how would I find it? |

Also getting the config error in prompt. Running on ubuntu wsl2. Init line looks like : eval "$(oh-my-posh init bash --config ~/.mytheme.omp.json)" I've tried with both bash and zsh. Same result. Rest of the prompt seems to be fine. It works fine on windows with powershell. |

Ok another update. Just finished installing it on my laptop in wsl and it works just fine. Be sure to install it using this method: curl -s https://ohmyposh.dev/install.sh | bash -s -- -d homeDir/bin , creating the bin folder beforehand. Then simply add bin to your path using: export PATH="homeDir/bin/:$PATH" in your .bashrc file. And everything should work correctly. |

Double-checked, and you are, of course, correct: FWIW, there is a ton of debug info and it is very hard to sort out what matters. Might be good to provide a summary of errors or render errors in red (or something)... |

I wanted to load the nu4a.omp.json theme which only works when I exec bash. After closing bash and upon returning, it reverts back to the config error and the comments error in first picture. |

@Derrick-0w are you referring to the font not being correct? As that's a terminal setting. You need to configure a nerd font, that said, I would also switch to Windows Terminal while you're at it. It's a much better terminal than what git bash brings (mintyy). |

I am also having a CONFIG ERROR and it's none of the above reasons...please help. When I add the eval command in my .zshrc, I get the error message: No such widget `._omp_original::self-insert' and am unable to type anything apart from whitespaces and backspaces. I just wanted to add that I also got a CONFIG ERROR after updating oh-my-posh with brew on MacOS. The solution: brew updates the themes and removed the custom themes from my default directory. Put one of the default themes back in your .zsh config, exec zsh and it should fix it. |

My configuration started working adding to file to my user $HOME directory the following config files:
eval "$(oh-my-posh --init --shell bash --config C:/Users/<your-username>/AppData/Local/Programs/oh-my-posh/themes/zash.omp.json)"
if [ -f ~/.bashrc ]; then
. ~/.bashrc
fiThis works for both my git-bash terminal and my VSCode integrated terminal.
