according to the readme, i should be able to run env --chdir=frontend nix develop -c yarn dev, but the webserver did not work for me until i ran npm install in the frontend/ directory.

may have been caused by flake registry problems. switching nixpkgs for github:nixos/nixpkgs worked well.
