1. What is ProgramEquity Hacks?
The ProgramEquity Hacks event is a virtual hackathon over zoom that unfolds over a single day. The event will be held February 10th, 2022. Multi-disciplinary teams formed during the event will collaborate to address effects of mobilizing civic engagement through digital transformation. We will work off of an existing open source platform and enhance the design based off of the conversations with 40+ advocacy groups centering climate action - one of the biggest challenges Indigenous and marginalized communities face today.

The virtual event will take place from 8:45 am- 2:30 pm pt Thursday February 10th 2022
4. How much time do I need to commit?
The event is a 6-hour sprint but tasks are also laid out in pre-made issues. Since the goal is to rapidly bring meaningful solutions to life, participants should expect to commit 2-3 hours throughout the day including kickoff

8. Do I have to have a technical background to participate?
We are seeking a diverse group of participants - what matters most is your commitment to making an impact and your willingness to collaborate. We will make sure to represent a wide range of skills represented in each track. Based on the problem areas your team chooses to tackle during the event, finding other team members within your track with appropriate backgrounds would facilitate rapid progress.
