Why a dependency on Newtonsoft.Json

Hey,

I noticed there is a dependency on Nestonsoft.Json. After looking more closely, i'm not sure why this is even there because the the only csproj in this solution that has a dependency on that nuget package is the tests project. Maybe this got removed a long time ago and a new release simply needs to be cut.
