Not sure if this is a bug or if I'm using DUIO incorrectly.

When I export to Audition, nothing happens. So files are exported or saved.

I tried a combination of all the different options but couldn't get any results.

I'm using AE 17.5 on MacOS 10.14.3

Can you enable "JavaScript Debugging" in the Scripting preferences in After Effects, try again and let me know if some error is shown?

I'll have a look ASAP, thanks for your feedback

Same here :
DUIO V2.0.1
Nothing happen when exporting to Audition.
The window to save open, then nothing. No file saved, no Audition launched.
The JSON export work great.

Win 10, After 2020, Audition 2021, administrator mode or not, with sync Gdrive activated or not on "my documents" folder.

Can you test with javascript debugging enabled (after effects preferences) to see if there's an error message?

@Nico-Duduf

I just tried the Audition export again and I am still experiencing the same issues. It just works in some comps seemingly at random.

It's a shame because this would improve my AE sound design workflow massively.

Don't other people need this tool or are they just unaware that it exists?

I just didn't have time (nor money) to work on it yet.

Can you send me an aep with a comp which fails to export to audition so I can run some tests?
I'm working again on IO tools soon

@Nico-Duduf
Today I had some time to experiment with it and I think I found out what makes it not work.

It successfully executes the script when ONLY the audio layers have audio enabled. If any video or comp layers have audio enabled it will not work. It would probably be good if the default behaviour was to ignore all the video layers and comps.

The project in the link below exhibits the behaviour I described. As soon as you enable audio in the video or comp layer the script will not work.

Edit: Sometimes it will be convenient to send audio from video files too. So I think it would be cool to have that feature too.

Thanks, these are the details I need to fix the issue. I'll be working on it very soon, I'll post back here as soon as the issue is fixed

So, the issue happens only with precomps actually.
I'm releasing a "fix" today: in the new version, DuIO will simply ignore precomps but export other layers. For now that's all I can do; we need more time to develop a future version where audio layers inside precomps will be exported too. Keeping track in issue #12
