Could the scale options be explained a little? I assume the one named "scale" with the float value would simply be a multiplier like .7 or 1.5 to decrease and increase reactively. I assume the scaletoheight and scaletowidth had it determine the proper multiplier by giving a pixel width and height to use.

Yeah, you're right. Although this needs to be documented somewhere.
