Currently, the number of digits of the display widget is fixed at 3. This shall be ok when using per-unit values. For instance, 0.999 pu.
However, if an engineering value is displayed, 3 digits may be too much. For instance, 690.001 V.
It shall be possible to select the number of digits.

My guess is that you are referring to the Value widget with your comment. Is this correct? Please confirm.
In any case, I like your idea and I think we should add this feature to the following displaying widgets
