I've set up a loop that run the same configuration 50 times each with and without lights, and compute the mean after the 50 runs.

The results are:

Mean without 70.06 and with 123.36

This means that the with lights version is about 50% slower than the version without. Maybe it is cheating or something. Just wanted to post the results here for starters.

Interesting. Maybe because passengers have to walk to find an available door?
