How to start an application?

I use Flow as a launcher but Wox looks great, especially with its plugins. I have a basic problem, though - I cannot start applications (Windows):

As you can see, none of the propositions are for Visual Studio Code, which starts fine when I launch it manually from a powershell prompt, or if I use the Win key (and search there).

Is there a special way of invoking applications? (a specific prefix)

Note: code is not a specific issue - I have the same typing, say, docker and not getting the ability to start Docker Desktop.
