How to use UpdateSeries with Radial Chart?

I'm trying to use updateSeries to update a radial chart. However I'm getting some issues, but I don't know if I'm missing something, so let me know if I should move this over to Issues.

function updateGauge(num1, num2) {
    chart.updateSeries([{
        data: [num1, num2]
    }])
}

Here's my code, but when the method is called I get an error.

Or, a lot of errors, apparently.

chart is defined as

var chart = new ApexCharts(document.querySelector("#chart"), options);

Turns out I was confused by the syntax of the documentation. This works in case someone's as stupid as me

chart.updateSeries( [ num1, num2 ] )
