I'm thinking a light bulb icon with a slash through it next to the step in question.

lots more icons going into the map. might be a good time to chat about design vision as the app gets more complicated

Not on the map. As the issue title says, "on itinerary."

meant app in general. lightbulb plus pills might get visually cluttered
