Hey all, this is a weird question but I can't seem to figure out if I need to enable something else in Emacs that I just missed or what.
I installed Emacs Plus on a professor's new M2 MacBook Air. It installs fine and if I launch the application itself then he can open files, etc. no problem.
However in terminal if he does the command:
emacs test_document_whatever.txt
Emacs doesn't open the file. He gets a response from terminal that either the program or the file doesn't exist.
What's stranger is that I don't have this issue on the Intel MacBook Air I have, nor the M2 MacBook Pro test machine we have. It seems to be limited to his device. Is it possible that it's due to him using bash shell instead of zsh? Did I forget to run a command somewhere? Am I just missing something obvious?
Apologies for such an odd question, but I'm in IT support and have no experience with Emacs.
