System information

  • Windows OS version: Window 10 (22H2)
  • ImageGlass version: 9.1.8.723 (64-bit)
  • ImageGlass release: Classic

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Open EXR image

Actual behavior

Image glass opens briefly, then closes a second or two later.

  • It seems that it might have trouble making previews for some EXRs because if i open a different image format in the same folder as the EXR, I can briefly see the previews show correctly for the non-EXR images, but the EXR image has the default icon or its blank.
  • If i open the EXR image, no preview images show.
  • If i open a non-EXR image far enough away from the EXR image where a preview won't be made for it, the app opens like it's supposed to. But if I scroll enough on the preview bar to where the EXR image is supposed to show, the app crashes.
  • Not all EXRs have this issue, only some and I can't figure out why. The file size doesn't seem to be the issue, because I can open one of my 78,500 KB images, but not a 28,600 KB image.

Expected behavior

The app opens and I can see the image(s).

Screenshots / Video / Sample image file

I don't feel comfortable posting any of the involved image files here since they are company work.

Additional context

Both of the EXR images I mentioned were made with the same program (Vray), but may have had different settings set such as display correction or gamma. I know the image files aren't corrupt as photoshop can open them just fine.
