I love elementary 7! Great job on all the improvements!
However since the release I have the problem that some new windows are opening behind others.
It seems to be related to my setup of two monitors, both identical (same name). My primary one is connected via HDMI and the secondary via DP. CPU: 11th Gen Intel i5-11500 (12) @ 4.600GHz GPU: Intel RocketLake-S GT1 [UHD Graphics 750]
This affects so far:
project windows run from Godot. Download Godot, start a new empty project. Press play. The window starts behind the IDE. This is regardless of the monitor Godot is on.
Close Code, Terminal and Files. Start Files. right click on a folder > Open in Terminal. The terminal opens behind Files. Same if "open in code" is selected. This only happens if I have Files on my primary monitor. If I have it on my second monitor then it opens above Files.
PHPStorm starts behind the other windows, if I have a window selected on the primary monitor. Launched from the dock, or the Applications menu, he behaviour is consistent. If I have focused a window on the secondary monitor and then start the program via the Application menu via the keyboard it opens above the others.
Possibly related: the multitasking view does not allow me to select windows on the secondary monitor.
Any ideas? Not sure if this is zero, one or two bug reports, so have posted it in discussions.
