Since 1.13.0, one should use Docker's built-in mechanism to drop all superuser privileges. However, the old template grants the capabilities SETUID and SETGID that are useless now. This issue tracks the progress to remove the old template from the observable universe.

Repeat the same CHANGELOG message

  • 1.16.0

Send head-ups to anyone who posted the old template in an issue.
