Unable to change ticket template type/category (both simplified/standard view) #18792

Bug description

Problem
Attempting to create/edit ticket templates - am unable to change types from INCIDENTS to REQUESTS - Different failures in both Simplified and Standard interfaces.

Simplified interface
When changing Template Type from INCIDENT to REQUEST - The page redirects, and completing the fields submits a new trouble ticket

Standard Interface
When changing Template Type from INCIDENT to REQUEST - Nothing appears to happen, no errors in logs, discovered reference related error using Developer Console in Browser.

Attempted to diagnose on
Windows 10/Windows 11/MAC OS 15.1.1/ipadOS Safari
Latest versions of Edge/Safari/Chrome/Brave/Firefox as of 01/21/2025
no firewall/av/plugins

Installed on fresh UBUNTU to test following these instructions:

Installed on my personal home Synology NAS with Docker container diouxx/glpi - latest

Result is always the same.

  1. Navigate to Assistance
  2. Navigate to Tickets
  3. Navigate to Template
  4. Create new or choose existing template
  5. Choose Standard Interface
  6. Change "TYPE" from INCIDENT to REQUEST
  7. Nothing changes - Notice DEV Console Output

Have continued to try to battle this including trying things from closed comments, to no avail. This issue continues to persist.

I confirm the issue. However, this is just a form preview, I guess the correct fix would be to set all fields as "readonly".
