hi, I cannot find functionality similar to https://github.com/semantic-release/git - so create a release commit , with optionally some changes. Any plan to have something like that ?

Hi @grzesuav, thanks for reporting this. I wanted to add this for quite some time, but I never got around to doing it. Unfortunately, I cannot give you an ETA for that, but you might be able to use the hooks-exec plugin for now.

@christophwitzko - thank you for creating a go/binary version of semantic-release. I love the hashicorp/plugin support.

Do you have documentation that shows how to use the hooks-exec to emulate the behavior that the git plugin provides? The lack of documentation and usage examples make it difficult to understand the api/usage differences between the two projects and plugins.
