Connection lost - only some times

Hello, I have an older vu+ with an actual VTI image. Using it a long time. Now I've tried to connect a android stick with kodi to this box and installed the plugin. No https, no password required. Sometimes (not predictable) after 5 minutes maybe after 30 minutes there is a red warning, something like connection lost or server not responding. I could live with a delay or some picture faults, but the plugin stops and I have to search for the channel again. In the documentation I found:

Connection check timeout: The value in seconds to wait for a connection check to complete before failure. Useful for tuning on older Enigma2 devices. Note, this setting should rarely need to be changed. It's more likely the Connection check interval will have the desired effect. Default is 30 seconds.
Connection check interval: The value in seconds to wait between connection checks. Useful for tuning on older Enigma2 devices. Default is 10 seconds.

I don't change it, I can't find any further documentation to this. Can I use this options to stop the annoying interruption of the stream?

Try increasing the connection check interval if you have an older E2 device.
