MediathekView should - as many other programs do - download files named as filename.ext.part and after a complete and successful download rename the file to the final filename.ext
This would it make much safer do identify interrupted download. Also, on download the "file exist" question could be skipped, if a .part file exist, but no file with the final name. MediathekView then could try to resume the download or - if not possible - silently overwrite the .part file.
