Has there been any discussion on the implementation of $evalulate-measure operation? As seen here:. I work with clients that need this operation, and we have had to use other means to provide it.

I'm going to jump on this and add a request for $care-gaps as well. With CMS pushing more and more mandates on the healthcare world to exchange information real time with FHIR, these kinds of clinical operations are going to be a must-have.

Evaluate measure is an extended operation that allows an organization to create a Digital Exchange Quality Measure(DEQM). This data exchange specification allows sharing of DEQMs between two organizations, such as a report that transfers quality information from a healthcare provider to a payer. CMS has a Quality Measure Authoring tool available here: MADiE. The tool creates the FHIR resources that can be exported and imported via the bulk loader into the FHIR server. Once loaded, it becomes an exposed API endpoint for the server and is part of the capabilities statement.
