The alt+d
shortcut on Chrome conflicts with focus on location bar

Hi Ben, Thanks for the issue! Can you give me more info on that, |
Sure! sorry for the lack details (was pretty sleepy when I wrote it up). I am using Ubuntu 14.04. When I press alt+d chrome it jumps to the address bar [1], and does not erase the current point. However I have found if I press alt+shift+d the jump to address bar shortcut isn't activated and I can still erase points. I can dig into the code, I am not sure, but i am guessing something like e.preventDefault() needs to be added to the handler. 1: you can see a lot of chrome shortcuts here -- https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/157179?hl=en this particular conflict is under |
Oh I see, you are on |
Ok that makes for now shift+alt+d works fine as a workaround for me. |
I'm also experiencing this issue with my work machine, Chrome on Windows 10. shift+alt+d workaround also working as a solution for now. |
