Using the tournament client in osu!Lazer

My friends were hosting a local tournament among their Discord server members, and I was helping them. I wanted to broadcast this tournament using the tournament client, but unfortunately it didn't work, half of the tournament client functionality just didn't work. So I want to know if there are plans to add the ability to broadcast osu!Lazer using the tournament client? Or is there such an option?

Eventually yes! For now you can make it work, but you need to use the multiplayer "spectate" function in the game, not in the tournament client.
