@dptdgi, could you please post the rationale and background of the decision and introduce yourself as well?
Also, your profile should be open, possibily with an avatar, and clearly indicate whose username it is, who's the person behind it and your affiliation.
Hello @bfabio, we had a short meeting with @ruphy few week ago, I will be the replacement member for Dipartimento per la trasformazione digitale - Presidenza del Consiglio dei Ministri because as was written in the charter.md:
the appointed member should be part of a central entity managing software or technological innovation at the government level
So I am here to continue to represent the Department in the project.
I updated the profile, trying to accommodate your requests, but it seems that there is no way to show the organizations in a private profile (it seems that there is no granularity in the openness of the profile so I will keep it close as default). I guess the workaround is to search the organizations, where I made my membership public: https://github.com/orgs/italia/people and https://github.com/orgs/teamdigitale/people
I see that the project is well established, but there is room for future improvements. Looking forward for next activities.
Thanks @dptdgi. An open profile would improve the transparency though, because it indirectly signals your affiliation via the web of trust of the repos you committed and have access to. And as you said there's the issue of not being able to show the orgs - the user description is a poor substitute because it's user editable.
It would make things a lot easier for everyone without going through any loops.
Besides that, care to add an avatar to the profile?
