Why sponsorship?

Honey is a working mom of a 12 year old boy. She comes from an under-represented community of women software engineers from South India. She juggles her work and family, struggles to keep supporting all her volunteering and open-source contributions by sacrificing most of her leisure into dedicating these activities.
A sponsorship would be meaningful for her when it comes to funding her time/effort for open-source contributions and for her resources (like books for her technical reading which will help her in knowledge sharing, helping her to attend conferences etc rather than using her family fund to cover all those especially living in an expensive country like Ireland with a family.)
In return of sponsorship, Honey could work towards her open-source ambitions (She has various open-source project ideas and she has plans to support various critical open-source projects.) Also she has various other plans for sharing her knowledge and to inspire other folks from under-represented communities into STEM and open-source.
