Versions

Community's SLA is to support the most recent public Talon version, and the current beta.

Current versions of Python used in Talon (hopefully kept up to date):

Type definitions

• Prefer lowercase analogues for collections, i.e. list[str] not List[str].
  • The former are newer keywords and don't need to be imported.
• Prefer the | syntax and | None over Optional[str]
  • Except in action definitions (until 0.5 ships to public): Convert Optional[X] to X | None in action definitions (after v0.5) #1721
