We are invited to provide a group update video. We will give the playlist for the tutorial but we can also summarize the meetups.

Information:

  • Duration: 1 min.
  • Deadline: 30th of August
  • Goal: Highlight the past meetups and adoption of WoT.
  • Style: We are free to choose. 16x9 is the minimum.

Simple Script:

  1. Text saying: "The WoT CG organized 18 meetups so far, highlighting the Web of Things adoption across many domains" Putting the YouTube channel (see screenshot below would be nice)
  2. 3 times 5-10s cuts of videos from different domains: factories, building automation, smart home. These domains are shown as text under the video
  3. Zoom out from the previous, where 17 others show up in a grid layout (see screenshot below), they play at the same time. Message shows up
  4. The videos can be sped up
  5. The WoT part of the video should be chosen
  6. Message is X (goal: 1: WoT is used and real. 2: You can participate)

Message ideas:

-"WoT is adopted in many places, now it is your turn"

"Meetups" have historically meant face-to-face gatherings. I suggest instead using "Virtual Meetups", "Video Conferences", or similar, so it's clear that these are not F2Fs.
