Specifying "child plugins"

Hi, I am trying to re-structure my packer setup a bit and am wondering if replacing requires in the setup with something else is possible, as the parent plugins don't require them really, but the children all require the parent. I am even unsure of the wording or a logical sense to this, but a structure like this is what I am trying to achieve:

It works fine with require, but I don't like the direction of dependencies, if thats understandable 😸
