Any disc that fits

This release changes the primary branch to 1.20.5 and changes the bookshelf compatibility check to allow any music disc, rather than just items tagged as music discs.

These new builds have also been verified compatible with Quilt Loader.

All Your Greatest Hits

This release makes an extremely simple modification to Minecraft that allows the player to store music discs in a chiseled bookshelf alongside books. At this stage, there's no visual indicator as to which shelves contain books and which contain discs, but that feature is planned. It would also be pretty cool to be able to store more than six records in a bookshelf. Maybe then I could have a visually satisfying way to show off all my copies of "Cat."

At this time only Minecraft 1.20.1 is supported (I'll make a 1.20.0 backport if anyone asks for it, and obviously this mod would be useless for prior versions).
