Who am I?
My name is Teiva Harsanyi; I'm a software engineer @Google. I love facing challenges, learning, and sharing. Oh, and I'm French π₯.
After almost three years of work, I published in 2022 π 100 Go Mistakes and How to Avoid Them. The goal was to help Go developers avoid common mistakes and pitfalls in different areas of the language. This GitHub repository summarizes the 100 mistakes: teivah/100-go-mistakes.
What I'm Working on?
Regarding my contributions, it goes mainly via these channels:
- Writing on my blog followed by 3K+ people. I want to keep producing content about different topics: Go, programming in general, distributed systems, reliability, coding & system design interview, etc. I also own a Medium publication focused on algorithmic followed by 2K+ people: solvingalgo.
- Participating in public events such as GopherCon or Go Time. The exhaustive list can be found here. I want to do more of that format.
- Owning popular repositories such as teivah/algodeck (4.8K stars), an open-source collection of algorithmic flashcards to help students and engineers prepare their algorithm and data structure interviews. I've also made a version for system design interviews with teivah/designdeck.
- Writing open-source code either in public repositories or libraries that I maintain.
Why is Sponsorship important?
I realized during these past years that giving my time and energy to help engineers was one of my favorite activities. I want to keep going in that direction and reach more and more people by producing additional public content (posts, conferences, online courses, newsletters, etc.). Sponsorship would be a great way for that.
